Slo-Mo is the way to go!!! Tai Chi is meant to be savored, like allowing an incredibly delicious piece of chocolate to slowly melt in your mouth. Sometimes during practice I find myself in a place of timelessness, a place where I feel so incredibly good, a place that I’d like to stay in for a long time. That is usually when my brain kicks in and I lose it. But those moments are very special. Moving slowly is a path to appreciating the nuances of our thoughts and movements. This is where magic happens. Moving slowly is the counter balance to living in a chaotic world where we are bombarded with screens and schedules and daily demands.
